For the last 15 years I’ve helped mission-driven organizations and founders bring their vision to life through thoughtful, strategic brand identity. Whether you're a nonprofit shaping the future or a solopreneur building something deeply personal, your work is about more than just a brand—it’s about meaning, connection, and impact.

Branding isn’t just about logos and color palettes. It’s a process of mapping—unearthing the deeper story beneath the surface, tracing the patterns that make your work distinct, and creating a visual and verbal identity that resonates. My approach blends strategy, design, and deep listening to craft brands that feel both rooted and expansive—clear enough to communicate, yet spacious enough to grow.

I’ve had the privilege of working with clients like:

Each project is a collaboration—a process of uncovering what already exists and shaping it into something that moves people. If you're looking for a creative partner to help map your brand’s next chapter, let’s connect.

About Atlas Minor

Like a logo, a name carries meaning. Here’s the story behind mine:

Before Mauritania was colonized by Rome, it was ruled by the legendary North African King Atlas, known for creating the first celestial globe—a map of the stars. Centuries later, Flemish cartographer Gerardus Mercator published a collection of maps, flattening the globe onto a page. He named his work Atlas in tribute to the Mauritanian king.

The original Atlas was designed to tell a story—not just of geography, but of creation, history, and the cosmos.

After Mercator’s death, a pocket edition called Atlas Minor was published. Over time, depictions of King Atlas were whitewashed, replacing his African identity with that of the Titan.

An atlas is a book of maps. And in many ways, branding is too. Instead of landforms and borders, branding charts the values, language, and visuals that define a mission.

I named my studio Atlas Minor to reclaim a misrepresented identity—and because my work plays a minor but meaningful role in the greater impact my clients make.

Truly, I greatly appreciated the humanity Lauren brought to the process, even in our first meeting. I was grateful for the clear expectations and deadlines she laid out. And that doesn't even speak to the way she listened to each of us so attentively and incorporated our myriad thoughts and reflections into a cohesive, unified brand identity. We truly feel like we received her best work as an artist, a business owner, and a person. We are so grateful!
